Until we revolt with votes,
Nothing will seem achievable
The leaders will be having a field day
Perpetuation poverty for the people
Silencing their agitation with more impoverishment

Until we revolt with our votes,
Politicians will fleece us dry
Infrastructure will remain elusive
And their overt discord will be harnessed in pecuniary largesse

Until we revolt with our votes,
Riding roughshod on us will never end
Inhumanity will be our collective patrimony
Disregard for us as humans will continue

Until we revolt with our votes,
They will not be unseated
The air of invincibility will suffuse
The delusion of a demigod will not be reined in
And we will be at their becks and calls.

That is the only veritable avenue we can vent our anger. It is not through violence or depredating acts that will only foment our collective agony and despair. Election is on the horizon. Let us unanimously decide how our lot will be.

I like this for multiple reasons - mostly for the encouraging tone. The power is in your hands, in your votes. I also like the message afterwards - vent your anger by promoting change, writing poetry, and not through violence. claps

This is nice! How can we spread this news to all Nigerian voters?

We often fail to understand that the power to make or mare a lot is in our hand. We should absolutely be wise and careful before we go all out in anger. Nice one bro
