Society doesn't like menstruation

Dirty, filthy, insanitary

Go hide the pain

Behind gritted teeth

but I won't do it anymore

I'll scream and cry

Bleed and scream

Unapologetically

Because I am in agony

And because it is gorgeous

To be a woman
