I told myself I won't involve myself
Vowed never to be entangled in their angle
Swore to break an ankle ever if it were an Angel
Lines of words seized when we met the Angels

Am caught in the web, you also in it
They hurry out of your presence without delay
Hope you don't see the part they hate to watch on replay
The Muse you cherished get abused by insufficient air

They say they are okay and doing fine
Deep down their breath is ill and about to pay a fine
They stubborn at junctions, they most times repel
They refuse to succumb except u a staunch rebel

A smiling face you see under the sun
Sweaters in high demand when atmosphere is cold
Pollution in the air, gets them polluted
They are ours, ours we watch for hours

Sleepless they feel most nights
Helpless and retarded in lonely times
Restless in thoughts on how to be healed
Reckless in the angry state for they didn't bargain this at birth

I told myself I won't involve myself
To stay put, my emotions not in their shelf
To keep put in my shell, but but but for how long?
How long do you stay away from stage because the crowd said Away?

They our brothers soon gon be husband, your prayer they need
They our sisters soon gon be mothers, untimely death diverted
They are our cousins, they should be killed
Yes they should be kill like new babies

They should be killed not with words of discouragement
They should be killed not with actions of stigmatisation
They should be killed not with atmosphere of fears and tears
They should be killed not with HATE but by EXCESS LOVE.
