The games we play with each other... weird dances that sometimes seem instinctual and uncontrollable, in spite of all of the modern day bells and whistles... As this poem reverberates in my mind I'm thinking of Perfect Circle's song Magdalena, where the man sings about the magnetic power of a stripper he can't tear his eyes from. Beautifully written, a lot of memorable lines in here. "box full of choke-on chocolates", "pinged and dinged soul of mine"...

Mer de Noms is a very good record. I appreciate the deep emotional states it, can when studied in approximation, induce. Hadn't heard of Magdalena for quite some time, enjoyed listening to it again!
