He pointed out this course of things.
There's no way out. Some cherish gods,
Some turn to wine in search of truth
And end up living down below
Accepting fate which has no proof.
You stroll on cobblestone alone
Back home among the other loners
And with yourself cannot be honest.
A line from a book that's lost and gone.
To be yourself? But who are you?
Whose spirit dwells in this frail body?
You're being questioned by somebody
Who left your line out of sight too.
And you, as nights go by so fast,
Keep blaming fate in desperation
But still you hope a different life should
Have a start for you at last.
It seems, that just a little longer
And you will see the dawn tonight.
Yet fall asleep as always lonely
It all persists, there's no way out.
