[Poem - With Recitation] - The Cost of Gain

All the ones and zeroes that you've kept,
Secreted to safety and well-stored,
Large in number proving you're adept,
At saving all the riches that you hoard.

But has keeping for a rainy day instead,
By fear of loss of all and having none,
Become the dread that makes you stay in bed,
Counting all your pennies, every one?

Blessed is the slave that breaks the chain,
That noose around your neck made of a dollar,
The fear of cost and also greed of gain,
That keeps you like a prisoner in a collar!
