I never knew that I could miss,
The texture of your tender kiss,
The sweet caress of gentle lips,
Like the touch of Angels' fingertips!

This one who did not count the cost,
Of losing you till he was lost,
Cannot embrace this emptiness,
Nor kiss the lips of loneliness!

So here I am, undone, denied,
Stripped down to what I cannot hide,
A foolish soul who never knew,
How much he'd miss a kiss from you!
