Fiddler On The Roofie

in poetry •  7 years ago  (edited)

If I were a rich man, I wouldn't be in the bar,
singing two-tone practice with a beat up guitar.
I wouldn't be aloof and I wouldn't have to battle.
I wouldn't fiddle on the roof up on the creak alone with half a paddle.

Saddle up, a chapter on the rise to glory. That's the truth, see.
Like geometry, the student can be blinded by a half a proofie.
and the fiddler when tricked is like a fiddler if on a roofie.
So, be cautious of the charlatans and rogues who rhyme like dr. seussy.

Unwind a little, rewind and find the answer to this blinding riddle.

AS ALWAYS, WISHES OF WEALTH AND HEALTH TO ALL! :)
