True story, my Dad is a big guy, but when he was young, walking with his grandpa through the woods, he stumbled into a snake nest, now he has a phobia. I used to walk around beating them with sticks, but now they have a dog that 'plays' with them.

And I had the worst case of shivers. I found a rattler nest not too far from my home on the trails, I wanted to faint. One of my neighbors took care of it. No clue nor do I want to know how. I don't blame your pops for his phobia. Whether you are tall or short (I'm 5' lol) snakes are snakes. lol

Ours are garden snakes and water snakes, non venomess, 2ft long at most. Nest of rattlers... I'd 💩 Myself.
