           MIRAGES

At dawn, the glories

Of a rising, shining morning Star.

Happy hopes hovering in heaven

For the light, life to come.

At noon, the hopes. So to

the fight. For flickering far future

Resigned. Resolute.

Then casts a shadow. Doubt.

At dusk, dawn, noon

All bashed. Glories, hopes

Disappear. Mist at dawn.

The mirage of life.

    "Mirages", talks about what more often than not, affects all of us. It talks about the goals we fail to achieve, the many times we have given up, the many times we have used the word "impossible", the times we have said it can not be done and the times our dreams have ended up, just mirages.

    The happy hopes we had at dawn, the precious dreams we chased at noon, have now all been bashed at dusk. However, what really comes out of our cherished dreams, our goals and our life really depends to a large extent on our own attitude and the desire we have to achieve our so desired successes. 

   When the distant scene of success all but gloomy and cloudy, what we really need is the flaming torch of persistence and determination to get to our targets. Remember those who quit never realise how close they were to success when they gave up. That reminds me of  Dom, my brother’s friend, they had been writing job applications to various corporations after College yet no positive responses, it was really frustrating. So my brother came back one day and said “Hey Dom, there's this Corporation that’s recruiting why don’t we try it?”, and what was Dom's response? “Forget about that, how many applications have we written?, I am tired”. Well my brother went ahead and landed himself a job.

                      

      That’s exactly what happens when we begin to doubt and finally give up. Success passes us by sometimes with just a step ahead.

     So rise up to the challenge and get the best out of everything you do and every dream you dream.

     Oh…I sound so motivational!!... Well, if I do not, who will?
