...
Each day I'll do a golden deed
By helping those who are in need
My life on earth is but a spent
And so I'll do the best I can
...
Life's evening sun is sinking low
A few more days and I must go
To meet the deeds that I have done
Where there will be no setting sun
...
While going down life's weary road
I'll try to lift some traveler's load
I'll try to turn the night to day
Make flowers bloom along the way
...
Life's evening sun is sinking low
A few more days and I must go
To meet the deeds that I have done
Where there will be no setting sun...

Making a commitment of what I'll do each day sound cool to me as a person and I know it's the same for us all when we write down our goals each day and set to achieving it. We tend to be satisfied when almost all are met.
But life isn't actually counting it that way, it's counting what good thing we have done and what happens next when everything we have done has fade away.
This song is a commitment to look at life from God's perspective, the perspective of serving God and humanity. The angle of helping other, doing charity and so on. In other to live a beautiful life.
