My friend made a deep poem out of common word fridge magnets. It got dark really fast.
on a side note, i'm frequently surprised by fridge-magnet and black-out and similar sorts of poetry. when people are restricted in their word choices they can get pretty creative. they generally can't overwrite or get over-expository, and are denied access to the images they might find come easiest and most naturally, which in truth are often boring and too tidy. the result is a poem that's comparatively stimulating and yet tight and simple in its wording--a sort of opposite to lots of amateur poetry.
The greatest rendition of TLDR ever, this is would make a great format for most long Reddit submissions.
In this way, it's usage creates not just a poetic verse, but a summary of the full-verse paragraph; reflecting the current demands of information-reading trends that were the inception for TDLR.
Would be interesting to see if a niche poem format emerges in-line with the usage of TLDR on other information platforms, assuming web culture emerges into the real-world culture increasingly.
Great
