TIME TO REST

What is this life if,
Full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
No time to stand beneath the boughs,
And stare as long as sheep or goats.
No time to see,
When woods we pass,
Where the squirrels hide their nuts in grass.

No time to see,
In broad daylight,
Streams full of stars,
Like skies at night.
No time to turn at beauty's glance,
And watch her feet,
How they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can,
Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A really poor life this if,
Full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

Its time to take a rest,
We can't be at our best,
If we are worn out in times of distress.
Time doesn't bend to our rules,
We have to adjust our rules to suit time,
Take time today to rest,
For tomorrow might be too late.

God himself showed us a pattern of working and resting in the book of Genesis.
If God worked and took time off to rest,
We certainly need to stop working and take time to rest.

Resting is very healthy,
It relieves us a lot of stress,
Whatever refreshes and refocuses you,
Is a good investment of your time.
TAKE TIME TO REST
Spend fun time with family,
Spend fun time with friends,
Spend fun time with lover,
Its better than spending time in hospital.

Lets all imbibe the habit of managing our time
Always create space in our schedule for resting
Even if its just 30 minutes you will be amazed at the effect it have on us.
A REALLY POOR LIFE IT IS IF WE CAN'T FIND TIME TO STAND AND STARE.
