As one as any can be.
Sickness, hunger, disease, tore you apart;
It ripped through my heart.
I see you broken and bruised;
I feel it all, I feel abused.
Broken-hearted you cried;
It broke my heart inside.
And all have been betrayed;
Each time I felt the spade.
Disappointed, depressed, you look to the sky,
I am dragged down n' don't know why.
All these things they make us complete;
Still, sadness n' suffering can ne'r us defeat.
This peace I have, I send to you;
Joy is yours n' you send it to help me thru.
For you and me,
