TIE-DYE SHIRT


I wore a tie-dye shirt yesterday
With a splash of colour here
And there

I wore a tie-dye shirt yesterday
I felt like I needed a bit of colour
In my life

I wore a tie-dye shirt yesterday
Because I didn’t want to blend in
Like everyone else

I wore a tie-dye shirt yesterday
And as the tears rolled down
I held onto every little scrunch
Of dye
And colour
And mystery
Till the last tear fell
