Really refreshing poetry for STEEMIT - I've come across many amatuer/good poetry, great poetry, and seldom poetry such as "Paradigm Shifts".

It's fluid, very precise, rhythmic in a way that in way that naturally flows off of ones tongue when read out loud. As I just did to my daughter that woke up from a nightmare - (she's 2 years old, it's 3:40am, she probably only knows the meaning of 15% of the words at her age) however it somehow soothed her and made her smile as she laid her head onto my chest and let her eyes close slowly and drift back into sleep. As I laid her back down into her crib I read it again - slowly and quietly as she was sound asleep before I was done.

The timing of reading the poem myself first, her waking up, and the message of the poem of - the inner self phases of a paradigm shift - was quite ironic and blissful...

By the way - I love the chosen image that you used to visually illustrate the poems words.

I will definitely be back to read more of your poetry - Namaste - @krytonika

Your comment definitely deserves an upvote! You sound like an awesome parent by the way ;)

@jobsande - Thank you so much for that - I'd like to think Im a pretty awesome parent :) I suppose as long as my wife agrees as does my daughter - that is what matters the most..

I've always spoken to my daughter as I would speak to an adult - well 90% of the time - toddlers can absorb so much more than they get credits for and personally I believe it's working - her vocabulary and ability to formulate sentences / and often in the correct pretense is quite amazing to me !

Hahaha well I'm sure they'd agree... interesting, I'm not a parent myself but I've also heard that. One of my friends have a toddler, they started right away with words and some basic sign language and it's amazing how kids can use the sign language before they can say words (even if it's just for a few basic things like I'm hungry, dog, etc.)

This has got to be pretty high on the list of most amazing and memorable comments I have ever received. Thank you for taking the time to read my poetry! Namaste.

@clayborne - Thank you for taking the time to read my comment as well.. I love stumbling acrossjregt poetry on STEEMIT as the styles and topics are so vast.

This poem truly is magical - I've seen the magic first hand :) That's exactly why I added in the brief story of what had just occurred with my daughter. And I try do believe she understood it in her own way - either by the word flow, the pieces of words she knows the the meaning of or maybe it's just a magical poem in general that will ctreare an army of smiles :) thanks again for your very kind words once again

Just curious, what's the source of inspiration for your poetry..I get the sense it's based on some sort of "awakening" you're going through, no need to share more details than you have with the poem, I was just curious how the words come to you.

One last question - do you do anything with it besides post on Steemit? You should definitely consider - at the very least - having your own blog and/or poem email newsletter if you don't already :) - Just my 2 cents!!

The source is my life's mission. Love, peace, and compassion. Steemit is the only social media that I really believe in, but I have some ideas for long term writing projects. I'll share them on steemit when I decide what I want to do. Thanks for reading!

Sounds good! Just my 2 cents since if you really want to make a side business out of it, Steemit is a great channel to help spread your poetry but it would also be nice to have your own "hub" as well. Totally depends on your goals and how much time you want to put in of course.. best of luck to you!

Agreed!

Hey, I have a humble bundle extra copy of Killing Floor 2 and saw you wanted it. Let me know an email to send it to and it's yours. I sometimes forget to switch out of parental mode on my steam account and often miss messages there or I'd say we could do it just by IM there.

Awesome, it's my birthday too, great timing! clayboyn at gmail.com still works I think. Thanks dude!

Really awesome poetry , great line [Acceptance the only real cure]

I personally loved that line as well @aryan12o

you are absolutely on fire!

Thanks :)

Good poetry...Soothens the mind...

The tightening within my chest I feel it every day.
I still haven't found a way to make it go away.

😊 Very different. Thank you for sharing. I hope to hear more soon from you about your current take on duality.

Time for you to officially return to philosophising perhaps? Or a totally new shift?

Glad to hear from you! I hope you are doing well. I don't really try to pick or choose between the two, my philosophy and spirituality are based on love. Love is everything I do, so the theme or style or even the topics may change, but my focus is solitary and whatever I can share with others I try my best to convey.

You do a beautiful job. Thank you 💗

Deep ONE right here brozilla! Layered in some hard truths. The illusion is as real as it isn't. Nice!

Thanks Broda, just feeling the force and interpreting my perspective for the others. :)

Pure excellence :)

Love this! We have been talking about anxiety and mental illness recently in discord, and I can see your philosophy and values shining through in this excellent poem!

I feel like a lot of mental illness is created by our society and find it destructive to label people as some form of irreparably broken. People can and will heal if we help them and show them compassion.

Love this and love you!

:) I'm glad you like it. It all comes from the heart.

Very Creative.
Depression and anxiety BTW must be treated with medical supervision and help from lovedones as I have had these conditions.
I also have an anxiety disorder until now, I just can't fight it.

Ahh yes, there has been a shift. I feel it ...many things have changed. Most i have found to be for the better. Yet regardless of what happens, I don't judge, hate or hold grudges. And I don't do stress....vibrating on wholeness ...All within the paradigm.

I love this. This should be made into a song for sure.

Thanks :) Maybe it will be! I let some of my friends use my poems creatively from time to time.

I believe the paradigm is shifting for sure. You are a soulful writer if I haven't mentioned that before. :)

I try to be mindful and conscious in everything I do, say, or share! Thanks for recognizing that. :)
