Poem: Dirt Ghosts

Dirt Ghosts

i am stitched together
loosely so the air gets in
this is not flesh but filament
hen leavings and raven pickings
tendon streamers gored sallow
anchored to bone
buoyed by god-seeds
it will take dirt ghosts
to unravel these threads

Very nice imagery. Good work. This is a thought provoking poem.

Thank you.

Hope was lost
Say it's not true
Freedom's cost
Need something new

This is a seed
Here may be a way
Fueled by need
Hope has its day
