Collisions

in poetry •  6 years ago

Our statues exploding and collapsing together in thunderfire.

Hailing rocks that pelt, sting and crush.

Such carved exquisites worshiped of flesh.

We shall pile heaped as one desire.

Impaling block that is felt in an everward ring reaching the distant hush.

Pieces to the pocket and mantle as a lost history of lint and ash.
