Half Moon

The beauty of the night is incomprehensible
There, far into the gloom of everlasting night
In the keep of eternity, of powers irrepressible
Worlds upon worlds and worlds, in dark light

Wherever this dust and darkness leads to
A little speck of life upon a window frame
I long to go there where everything is blue
A simple character in a sophisticated game

Highway of dreams and endless possibilities
Frozen breaths of the lost and the unknown
The home of spirits and many strange entities
Waiting, waiting in the abyss of silence to be born

How I wish to ride the light of a shooting star
To become one with the lonely warmth of Venus
And go fishing upon the dried up rivers of Mars
There where dwells men close to God, like Enos

When I feast my eyes upon the universe
I can not help it, but to wonder, and wander
What may lie out there, mysteries, truths, curse?
O, I'll be in love with the face of space till I'm under.
