2016 wasn't great.
There was some love
but much more hate.
The world is still divided
between Jesus and Mohammed.
Books full of contradiction
and mostly science-fiction
have power over us
and don't allow us to discuss.
I might sound condescending
but their beliefs seem never-ending.
To resist you need some guts
religious people are just nuts.
For thousands of years have we observed
them trying to take over the world.
They tell us not to be concerned,
Our lord and savior will return!
On this matter we disagree
an absentee is all I see.
There is no God and that is good
I don't want him and no one should.
