Imprisoned within a love bond that can never be true
How my heart longs to be with you
Days have turned to weeks and
Months have passed us by
And yet I sit here, still, wondering why?
These feelings inside so incompletely true
Still I love, even though there's no you
The distance and time may separate us today
But I believe in the most wondrous of ways
One day I'll get to hold you and be right by your side
I've been waiting patiently since the day that my heart died
It hasn't been easy to fight my feelings for you
every waking moment till i sleep its all I do
I try to hide it deep in me because nobody believes
how hard it is to live each day without your smile to see.
