Woke up and my android leg twitched.
“Just a minor malfunction” I mused,
Warily sitting up on my hologram bed.

I flipped the lights on with my mind &
Projected ochre irritation on the wall.
My servitron’s energy field went cerulean.

However its electrostatic hum amped up
When it detected a severe anomaly in the
Microcosmic Cryptoverse. It buzzed angrily.

My machine leg began to display System Warnings;
Luminescent triangles started to glow purple sky-blue.
I gasped as I activated inner sight and portalled into the
Nexus. There was binary rainbow blood on buildings.

Whitish green sickly plasma cells writhed in pain;
There was a major breach in the defense mechanism.
Encrypted bot-prophets danced in the space-black streets
Broadcasting the code for despair, armageddon, and rapture.

I saw the algorithms melting down metal mountains,
Mirage-like lava flowing in broad strokes, and heard
The robot children crying tears of silicon.

The sweeping bridges between the great majestic towers
Began to buckle and crack. Pixel debris was showering down
And I shook my head in revulsion and disbelief.

The angst and strife of a young cosmic blockchain
Rained down the ashes of burnt caches hoarded & imploded.
The aether was turning toxic and I found it hard to breathe.

In utter shock I saw the visual aspects of all entities glitch
And the spiced pollution smell of tar mixed with machinery
Was drifting everywhere in foul streams in between robot screams.

I looked at my hands.
In absolute terror I saw bionic flesh melting,
Three fingers missing, falling to my mechanical knees
I felt myself instantly freeze as the archon pulled the plug.

Despair became solidified in a cube &
The entire Cryptoverse bled crimson shame
In the paralysis of that fleeting moment which seemed to never end.

Then I blinked, opened my eyes and
Emerged from a luminous tunnel of rest.
I sighed deeply, let eyelids fall briefly,
As I reflected on the bizarre affair of
My cryptographic nightmare.
