Ghost In A Shell

_{Yesterday I stayed eating grub

I munched and chewed

Hoping to taste something different

Hoping to taste a single flavour

But like all the days before, I taste nothing it was bland.}

_{Yesterday I stayed listening to the silence

I listened carefully and intently

Hoping to hear something different

Hoping to a hear a sound

But like all the nights before, I hear nothing but silence.}

_{Yesterday I stayed breathing the stench

I sniffed and whiffed

Hoping to smell something different

Hoping to smell a new odour

But like all the days before, I smell nothing but stench.}

I stared glaringly and gazingly

Hoping to see something different

Hoping to see even a shadow

But like all the days before, I see nothing but darkness.}

_{Yesterday I stayed touching myself

I fondled and caressed

Hoping to feel something different

Hoping to feel even the tinniest bump

But like all the days before, I feel nothing at all.}

_{I am nothing, just a ghost in a shell

But I beg you not to tell

Keep this secret of mine

Let no ear hear of it

For I fear what they would do if ever they got word of it.}
