Shadow

Demons in my head that kept me awake at 12 am,
Whispers i hear as i try to close my eyes in fear;
Shadows i see in my bedroom walls and even in halls,
Not in the house, but in my very own mind, they've made it their home.

You, the only person i could trust could not understand what i'm going through,
Is it because i did not said any words about it or so?
Or is it just because i have decided not to,
Since you won't understand every single detail i'll say.

And then you criticize me for who i am,
Judging me what kind of a person i am from my mistakes;
You, whose one of my family i call my own,
Discriminating words that came from your very own.

Now thoughts running my head,
I was disappointed but yet again I wasn't surprised;
Maybe i just got used to it,
That I people will blame me for my mistake.
