Hugging the soft granite, its path a welcomed danger
An invitation into a different world
A world where euphoria needs no drug
Where euphoria needs no paper
Needs no touch
It reveals to those that look, to those patient
It reveals to those who listen, to those who dare
It reveals to the open.

High above the garden, the expanse is intoxicating
Eden’s cradle lay before the eyes
Peaking mountains surround you
Green hills roll around you
Cold purity flows under you
Theses gifts are not a vacation,
Not a break
They are reminder and feeling
Of blissful insignificance.

The coarse mountain cuts your soft hands
The water chills your balanced core
The pollen irritates your delicate lungs
The sun scorches the fleshy defense
A reminder of what has ruled for a billion years and what will rule for a billion more
Human delusion cannot change reality, though it may try.
