In our days of total dependency
there came a man with potency
vow to our wrongs correct
and our integrity protect
in the midst of uncertainty
he promise political sanity

In our days in deep corruption
there came a man with good intention
pledge to completely fight
to salvage us from our plight
even in our bad times
he promise to fight crime

In our days of political decay
there came a man who is sincere
assured us of non-interference
and that he gave serious preference
in the midst of imposition
he promise credible election

In our days of the evil of Boko Haram
there came a man who brought calm
persuaded he declared zero-tolerance
and reduced the sect to no importance
in the midst of bomb-blast
he promise to restore peace at last

In our days of 100% importation
there came a man with the vision for Local production
poised to completely diversify the economy
and deliver Nigeria our country
in the midst of this and that
he promise our refineries to start

In our 16years of bad governance
there came a man with cognizance
moved by the passion to re-position Nigeria
he gave funds timely to all area
in the midst of misappropriation
he promise on-time allocation

not because he is better than the rest
in two years he is doing his best
today monies are publicly abandoned
we have a President who does not condoned
the fight against corruption
has taken a new dimension
many have been indicted
some have been arrested

Nigeria might not be there yet
evil of 16years let's not forget
the future indeed is bright
soon we will see the light
Nigeria will be great again
then we will forget so soon our pain
I love President Muhammadu Buhari
sometimes I call him daddy.
