Listen to the symphony of the sea
At times loud and brash
like cymbals,
Crashing and thrashing in angry rhythm;
At times soft and lilting
like the harp,
Lapping and tapping
in gentle motion.

Listen to the symphony of the sea
Waking the dead
with its thundering;
Stirring the depths of the soul;
Lulling the senses.
