Lost Self

in poetry •  7 years ago  (edited)

While I wonder waiting walls
In search of self; lost and gone
Then tossed I the whirling winds
To join in further search lest I fail

A new self I plead to find
Fearless, focused and then kind
For my lost self was berieved
Of such virtues it once believ'd

If beyond this lines you see
Signs of the old me by a glee
Bid it farewell and watch her reply
For of her flows truths that kills the lie.
