NIGHTMARE!!!

Walking through the trees
A shadow peeks
From the dense darkness
Like a bird of prey
It flaps wildly
A sinister entity
In the dead of the night...

The voice of silence
Screams in the dark...
A devil disguising
As lights' own angel
And my heavy feet
Stood rooted
Helpless...

It sneaks into my night
A crawling monster
In the dark it snarls
A shrill and vicious growl
An angry piercing teeth...
And I am left all alone
To face my fears
Of the worst dark...

Through the long night
It stood formless
A looming thickness
Stalking...
Orbitless eyes staring
Piercing my soul
Freezing my screams...

Haunting me
From the deep
From a darkness
Yet unknown
Is my worst fears
My nightmare...
It is a thudding noise
A deafening silence
A wicked solitude...

It was a cold and windy night
And for six good hours
I had been in slumber
Now my worst fears
Bleeds into the night
All gone with the dark
Nothing to worry about
It was just a nightmare
Or was it really???..
