A beauty like no other

A lady to me, my friend, my confidant my lover

I know no matter how much we seem to disagree, we always agree

I see the best and you see the rest

I know I might seem like a hopeless romantic, wile that is not a bad idea, I am not totally one, or am I?I decided to try out a new writing style and see the outcome. I guess I am liking it already.
The first like is really self explanatory, although it refers more to the inner beauty rather than the physical beauty we see, a representation of how our lives should be.

The second line refers to a trinity like characteristic by the individual, only a person possessing the traits of a friend confidant and lover.
The third line signifies a strengthened bond between the person describing and the person being described. while the fourth line shows the ability of the person being described to be able to see deeper, thereby being better than the best.

The peace, the vow and the home

The things we hold dear

Ever so present even though absent some might seem

But every second ticks to make forever a happily ever after

The first line symbolizes the core three things a union needs, peace of mind in several areas, the vow to love and to hold as well as other things, the home is a totality of everything ranging from happiness to spontaneity and even trust. With these under the belt, the home is complete.
The second line strives to buttress the lines of the first, call it a paragraph created for emphasis.

The third line suggests that the writer is not yet married to the person being addressed hence why a vow and a home are absent, however they are not permanent as "ever so present" indicates a desire to include marriage into the agenda.
The last line from the paragraph above has further confirmed the meaning of the "ever so present"

Time is the only disgrace in the fold

Patience is the child we must adopt to cover the disgrace

It seems so far, but yet it is so close

Day by day, we anticipate like a daily dose

The first line points out the fact that the writer must wait for the right time to solidify a union, no matter how short, time is still a factor.
Patience is something needed to achieve his goals, but then what disgrace are we talking about? It is none else than time itself.

Lines three and four shows reek of determination to adopt the necessary child and bring home the gold.

Like I said, this is a style I am testing, the aim is not really analysis, but a back door access into an understanding only the author can fathom totally and only by sharing his mind can we accurately join in.
Tell me what you feel, I am still a work in progress.

the composition of his poetry is steady, very meaningful. hopefully achieved the desire of the author of the poem in conveying his meaning.

You totally stand out with your writing skills. I can see some of the underlying statements not visible to the eyes alone.... Good writeup @ehiboss

New style of writing like you said.. impressive thanks boss for sharing.. Three sets with three different themes love..peace...patience(at least from the much I understand ) I like the last set more about timing patience and waiting it shows that no matter what there must be a waiting period and this period of waiting should be appreciated ....i particularly like the detailed explanation of each line that Just makes it easier to follow and understand

My best friend is also a hopeless romantic, xd.

My friends and I are always teasing him because of his love to romantic songs.

Hello @ehiboss,

A friend of mine knows a saying

A writer dies once he explains his work.

It is a funny at first, but at a deeper glance, it makes some sense. The wonderful thing about literary works, is that they can be construed in different forms by different people. There's no limit to the different facets through which people can view a work.

I think when an author explains his work, it makes it lose that air of mystery and it turns somewhat bland.

Maybe I'm old fashioned, maybe this is a new writing style, I'm willing to learn though. Sensei.

Experiment or not, this is a beautiful one.

Well articulated @ehiboss, your writing skills is coveted..........i think i picked something "Time is only a disgrace in the fold".

One can actually write poetry to have every line a meaning and not the general?
If that's the new writing you are talking bout, it seems really nice! Though may now have more depth concerning understanding!

Nice poetry and this is a good quality.....when u see me commenting just know is because i am fan

Time is the only disgrace in the fold Patience is the child we must adopt to cover the disgrace!!!!

The point i love most,@ehiboss

Opening the door into the thoughts behind your words is good. It's a brilliant idea but it also R limits. For the reader now has you to tell him or her what your poetry means. The joy of deciphering the poem is lost. Good one though. You've got a brilliant idea here.

Very brilliant!

You sound like a first class student of literature and history.

In writing you are the boss. You can decide to kill your characters or let them live. You can use the poetic licence to do the things considered "unconventional." In all, it is between your creativity and the words. So go ahead, steem it.

As a writer of poetry I enjoyed how you wrote this poem and broke it down line by line. I remember first falling in love with poetry in high school. We would examine popular poems and analyze them line by line. It was so intriguing to see the symbolism and deeper meanings behind each line. Your poem is very much relatable and appreciated! Thank you for bringing back a nostalgic memory for my love of poetry.

i enjoy your post ^^! Thanks.
