Let's call her cr_zyh0b0 and forestry was the hobby she loved.
Mingle, we did. Soon, the alias of enforcer48 came about.
She was my first friend in the area no doubt.
She offered to show me around and take me out.

She was definitely the more athletic of us two,
Sporting martial skills and archery alike.
The only common things felt like riding bikes,
And sometimes fishing by the river for pikes.

She often got in fights with other teens.
It makes you wonder how she managed to have friends at all.
She never shied away from a brawl.
I guess that was the benefit of not being small.

Sometimes, we enjoy a chat while having tea.
We talked about our lives and dreams.
Neither of us knew what we wanted it seemed.
Even today, that remains to be the theme.

Alas, it was time for me to go.
The time was around the fall.
Lederhosen she wore I recall.
Her hair, in twin tails, she stood tall.

I never knew what happened to her since.
Many years have passed.
Her name, lost in the past.
Perhaps, it is time I asked.

I still hold one memento.
A hatchet that she had.
Looking at it made me sad.
Well, maybe just a tad.
