Why is humanity so unjust?
We have come to the point where we doubt who to trust,
The trust placed in many
Has led to bitter tears and broken hearts.
Why do people take pleasure in being
Friendly today
And
hostile tomorrow?
It's obvious that it's the nature of man to be unkind,
There is this innate desire to be malicious
Trusting many has broken several hearts -
Friends today, enemies tomorrow.
Since men are given to deceit and deception,
They paint the picture that all men are snakes,
We try our best to stay away from crooks and knaves,
And steer clear from their lairs.
When women double-cross the innocents,
Time comes to shun their bogus trapped romances.
Since humanity is unjust,
Who do we trust?
The trust of many has led to great sorrow.
Great friends today,
Detractors tomorrow.
