Ends

You’re perfect in every sense of the

word. A pristine example of what it means to

live each day as if it’s a gift and not a rule. It’s just,

there are these ends. These loose ends of which I have

ignored. I thought they wouldn’t matter, that you could

be my beautiful distraction. But that wouldn’t be fair

to you, or me. And so I have to leave. And maybe

someday soon, I’ll learn to love myself. I’ll

be full and I’ll return to that smile.
