По ступенькам влез на небо,
Отдышавшись, глянул вниз:
Боже милый, сколько снега,
Сколько пыли от кулис. 

Звякнул тихо колокольчик,
Свет запрыгал и погас,
Режиссёр под нос бормочет,
Матерясь в сердцах на нас. 

Я на облаке душистом
От ромашки к васильку,
Как родился пацифистом,
Так и умер по утру. 

В оркестровой яме жарко,
Чёрт во фраке в бубен бьёт,
По натруженным лопаткам
Льётся чёрный мутный пот. 

Слепят яркие софиты,
И мешают вспомнить текст,
Ассистенты деловито
Приколачивают крест. 

В этой пьесе без финала,
В этой сказке для небес
Два актёра, два вокала:
Глупый я и грустный бес. 

С ним вдвоём от сцены к сцене
Без обедов и весны
Крутим светопреставленье
Под присмотром Сатаны. 

Как люблю я это небо,
Эту музыку и стиль,
Голубые горы снега,
Превратившиеся в пыль, 

Золотые серьги с камнем:
Яшма, оникс, лазурит...
Только - поздно, я - отравлен,
Я - оставлен и забыт.
