When we lay to rest and the traps are set
Would we fall in?
When you’re moving in full awareness
that these folks do care less
Whether your art is impressive
or your delivery is flawless
All that’s right on their mind
Is to take you down every time
And take from you every dime
In self worth, cash or in kind.
How do you survive
in a world where snakes are in power
Where the truth’s gone sour
and love’s relocated to a high tower
Who do you run to
when the ones who
claim to love you
end up hurting you the most.
What's left to be done?
How fast can you run?
Where would you even go?
I don't know.

It's sad, but beautiful at the same time. I always appreciate toughts of each individual and i try to relate to them. You are a great person, and your work is art. Just keep moving forward as we always come to a better place if we fight and don't let others run us down.
