Love is what living beings have, compared to material objects.
yes, it is ability of soul, mind, consciousness.
passion is not its only form, that's just a creation - which is easier.
however more difficult is maintenance, support. that requires more skills. :)
so, can say that higher levels of love are realized through learning how to support and maintain creations. that can be tough and challenging.
