Mute and continue

in poetry •  8 years ago

The strange attraction between an old young man and a young old woman,
"Harmless and complicated",
The age gap made friends.
Relief at the tired tension,
Squeezed at the fire's quenchin',
Mute and continue,
I will.

To rob someone's dignity,
To hold back,
To shaft the tongues of pseudo-jacks,
Mute and continue,
I'll try.

I've just planned 6 months of fair's affinity,
The lax epitome,
Where easiness comes to a head.
