0range peels smell on a hot & humid summer morning (draft Installation)

in poetry •  7 years ago

the curtains
an orange light with yellow dots
I can’t kiss your feet
under the sheets

a smell that lingers in the air on a hot summer day after the lawn gets moved
like rainbows and kittens
skin with a bit of sweat

stuck' there without going over
almost confusing
water and citrus, mingled with the scent of hair
Look, you, you
like a warm gush
overlapping layers
hiding in plain sight and changing in secret
but , you,
Oh, oh!
fullness is filling
so long ago
so please!
flowing between the shapes
the few seconds before feeling
not focused,

slightly salty and warm
turning away from the glare
burns in the back of the throat
blinds the eyes

>*"LITTLE FISH MUST HELP LITTLE FISH"*

I’ll definitely never see an orange peel the same way now. I really liked the way the words mingled. Great poetry!

Well, things can be an important subject. Das ding ansich. Colours, smells, objects,... can have a memory. Even early childhood memories can have an erotic charged memory in adult life. We are not always aware why certain things moves us. Life is collecting memories, senses, ambiences....
