"Steemit Poetry Contest#16"A Nurse's Wish.

in poetry •  7 years ago  (edited)

I would take a pace, I never had should.
As I scream, any patient on my way I'll push
Mother! Mother!!
Your baby who was dead, now lives with you

For a moment, her world will be paused
Her heart beat will be heard, like the sound of a drum.
She will be weighed down with joy,
For her baby who left, now has return.

I still hope for this moment, though it will never come.
Every now and then, I'm filled with this thought
I sometimes exhibit an expression of my imagination,
That the baby long gone, did return.images (5).jpeg
