There's a strange building beyond city lights
Like the fading shadow of an unpleasant memory
Pieces of broken glass, blood, and a gust of air

Slide through time and space, but remain motionless
Reach out to the ancient brick, cold to the touch
Feel the pulsating stone beneath your fingertips

A drop of water hits the ground and strikes a wave
With a twist of your stomach, evergrowing vertigo
Be oblivious, close your eyes - surrender

This? That? Whatever! Just echoes passing through
With sudden weightlessness bare feet start dangling
Rise above, in anticipation for what's about to come

Up here, every house just one but of many
