Hey steemians... Here a poem dedicated to love.
Happy Valentine!

Love for me was in every shade of blue
Calm, peaceful like the skies
Yet alluring, like the sea
Carefully, it crept in and took over my soul.

Overwhelming, yet subtle,
Slowly invading my circle
Leaving its mild traces
Like the shade of paled turquoise

Patient, yeah overpowering
With so much grace and poise
Like a true seed of royalty
My heart was throned its home.

It wasn't forceful
There was no rush, it wasn't desperate
Its movement were as a stealthy navy.
And soon enough, my mind was its prey

There was neither sparks nor tingles
Buh yet, its presence was enchanting...
Just like midnight blue...
I was lost in a trance of cravings

Like an entourage,
Soon my path was flooded..
An ocean maybe?
I couldn't be so sure.

I was like a cadet,
It was hard work, sometimes rough
But I had taken a stance
There was no backing down.

Like an aqua soul
I couldn't get enough
Cause love, in its blissful days
Handed me a platform, like presidency.

But on its low days
It was like an air force base
Strict, cold buh relentless.
So I knew there was no redemption for me.

Like a prison warden,
My feelings were,
Its chains locked around my heart
Only that I, was a legal slave.

I had made a choice
To color my days with all of its shades
And skillfully form a pattern
Regardless of all my blue days.
