I am tired.

I am tired.
I am tired of being unheard.
Of all the assumptions and misunderstandings.
I am tired.
Of all the miscommunication..
or the lack thereof.
Who I am
is not always easily understood.
Who I am not
is always spoken about.
I once loved you
I once thought you were my friend
but i can see now
i can see that we are not friends
and that you have never been a friend.
you have used me
you used me until i was nothing
until i was broken
and then left me there
begging to stay so you could use me some more.
I am tired.
I only want this to stop.
But for now I have no choice.
And so I will sit here
and fight the pain
and the lies
and the hurt.
I will face it
and I will be stronger tomorrow.
But for now.. I will sleep.
Until better days.
