The sound of you
rings clearly in my ears.
Vibrant and alive
You feel.. different.
I like it though.
I like the difference.
I like the way it feels
To dance around the fire.
I like the way it feels
to dance above the ashes.

Flicker and sway
You light up the whole world.
Reflection, collection
of the mindful interaction.
Let me tell you of another life.
One where I stayed away.
Endlessly fixing a broken heart
Endlessly mending the seams without thread.
Unhappiness and sadness,
Anger and resentment,
It has taken me years to let it all go.
And I still cling on to pieces
And you prove me wrong each step.
But you were a different part of me
And now I experience you.
Special and intertwined,
In pieces of me neither of us know.
You are where my Soul resides.
Dancing carefully near the flame.
