For an old man he is in good shape.
Over his apartment door plastic bags he drapes.
To say he is a germaphobe would be understated.
For anything dirty he has surely hated.
For hours and hours he sweeps into a dust pan.
Then washes and washes in hot water his hands.
Before leaving the house pant legs must be rolled up.
Clear goggles to protect his eyes are a must.
He checks all around the door minutes before going out.
Is he looking for an insect or maybe a mouse?
Finally its safe and he goes outside.
Looking all around, far and wide.
Cautiously walking to the garbage can.
A well worn dustpan in his hand.
He checks things over before lifting the lid.
Wondering what animal maybe has hid.
Ignorant people might think he is a jerk.
But talk to him and you'll find he is well versed.
It just goes to show you not to judge what you see.
Any one could be dealing with paranoia or OCD.
