The 3 Wise Men

There's a lone star in the sky
which serves as your humble guide,
and should yee chase it to the horizon
with greatness you shall collide.

You've travelled far to worship,
set aside ego and bend the knee,
but beware the fearful, jealous king
afraid of prophecy becoming reality.

The gifts are symbolic foreboding
to a historic story of the ages,
to be remembered throughout the millenia
and written down on holy pages.
