POETRY CLASSIQUE: BROWN EYES

BROWN EYES

In your brown eyes
There were so many lies.
I saw pain, I saw shame
I watched your heart fly.

Stay with me... stay a minute more
Fill me; Hold me like never before.
You made me smile, you made me cry
We walked the aisle,We watched our son die.

Now, we no longer share
Worse still, we don't even care.
But I'll stay here- I'll wait
For those brown eyes; my ultimate gate.
