INJUSTICE

She was an orphan, who provided for herself
She had a smile for every one she came across
She was a lady from a world of her own
She was beautiful as the Morning Star
With a sonorous voice like an angel's
Eyes that could melt butter
Hair that sat around her head like an halo
She was "perfection" personified
If there is an iota of justice in our world
She did not deserve what came to her
She was raped and murdered in cold bold
The culprit is a popular figure in the community
He payed off the judge and the jury
He threatened members of the jury who wouldn't be bribed
The case was rigged and he was acquitted
He struts around like he's the king of the city
Goes about with no care in world
The police are in his pockets
There is nothing anyone can do to him
There is obviously no justice in the word

Injustice is everywhere it is only god that can fight it for us. corruption is everywhere especially in my country where d rich cannot commit crime but any crime committed

Never know you to be a good poet

Good? That is a very bold claim, thanks for the kind words anyways.
