Rising from the Ashes

in poetry •  6 years ago

The clouds were fluffy and pink the other day so I took some photos.
The colors reminded me of an older photo where I was running through the remnants of the Bastrop, Texas Wildfires.
That photo then reminded me of a poem I had written called Rising from the Ashes.
The cats told me I should type my poem on the photos to create what they refer to as, "Phoetry"
So I did.
Because my cats talk to me.
And I listen to them.

You do know that admitting to listening to your cats makes them more demanding? Gotta play their game and let on you don't really care even when you do. Love the pics

The clouds are really beautiful, love that pink-purple color and that is clever from your cats to remind you the poetry. That sounds so romantic and fits well to the pictures :)
