It's a beautiful sunset, isn't it?

in poetry •  7 years ago  (edited)

I often found myself alone with my mind,
In beautiful places; especially in beautiful places,
We would often talk,
But in silence of the sunsets,
A few blows to the knee cap and one to the deep within,
But stars would often die,
Books were read,
We often broke,
To meet, ourselves again?
Me and my mind would talk through the sunsets,
About how funny would it be, if the earth was neither flat nor a sphere,
If we never existed, would we even know,
We'd just shoot arrows in the dark,
Maybe one will hit,
See.
Me and my mind again, consummating with mary jane again,
The devils classic,
And its another beautiful sunset.
