JEALOUSY

in poetry •  6 years ago

Tears running down her soft cheek
I vowed to be the source of peak
Unknown,, I had ruined her week
A man,, so beautiful and meek
Alas,, my brother is dead
I was motionless on my bed
Did all I could as a med
I'm a man that ought to be tortured and fed
All for love
I have transformed into a monster
Slaying,, deriving pleasure in mortal
Taking lives and friends that matter
Naivity is not reason for anger
I'm a monster within awaiting opportunity
Now where's the love
I said I wouldn't leave her in the turf
Here,, and now I'm with no stuff
About to be beheaded on the golden turf
Jealousy kills
Hurts the soul
Cutting short the sprouting joy,,
Endemic in all humans
Control it and you would be the master man
Eschewing the hot pan
Apparently because you've controlled the emotion,, jealously
Love unconditionally still
Bludgeon her with your all
Kiss her passionately
Take her to her dreams
But tame your jealously
Take em forever,
Other wise,, you would rut with filths
You would cause your existence
Love is real
Jealousy is the antithesis
